RFDS Incursion

Last Wednesday, Tom from RFDS (Royal Flying Doctors Service) came with his simulator to the year 3/4 neighbourhoods. Tom gave a wonderful talk to our students about the history of RFDS and the valuable service the RFDS gives people who live in the remotest parts of Australia. He also spoke to us of children and adults who are flown many kilometres by the RFDS to receive transplants in in Melbourne or Sydney. We were given full access to the RFDS simulator where we had a go at all the different equipment inside.

During lunch time, some students had a go at the rugby session held by Angus Roberts who plays for the Melbourne Rebels and is an ambassador of RFDS.

Please enjoy the photos we took during this incursion (please view this on the browser).
