RFDS Victoria’s ‘Look! Up in the Sky’ education program, led by Education Manager Tom Ryan, and Melbourne Rebels Australian Rugby Union representative, Nick Phipps, will visit Princes Hill Primary School on Wednesday June 5th. Nick is also an ambassador for RFDS Victoria. This will be a great opportunity for Princes Hill students to learn more about the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Melbourne Rebels. It’s also a chance for both organisations to build on their work in the community. The session is an investigative look at the history and operations of the RFDS over its 85 year history – including its relevance to all of us today. Students will be required to board the simulator. In the event of rain – the presentation should be in the classroom and send the students to the simulator in groups. A lunch time Rugby session will be held by Nick for around 30 students including a game of touch and drills.
