People's Parade

On Friday, the students of Year 3/4 Neighbourhoods took part in the People's Parade. Many families and students came out to watch as we paraded our fantastic costumes and items around the outer perimeter of the school. Luca's grandfather and his friend from Williamstown RSL Band kindly joined us for the afternoon to lead the parade, playing the bagpipes and the drum. Many residents came out from their homes to cheer us on, while passers-by stopped to watch. The students brought with them musical instruments and those that didn't chanted or sang songs. We all made lots of noise! It was the most beautiful spectacle and a fantastic conclusion to the first half of our Culture Inquiry.

Please enjoy some of our photos (click on the photos to enlarge them). If you have any photos to share with the blog, please email them to the blog email address (phps34@gmail.com).
