Year 3/4 Assembly

The students sing "Sanpo". Click to see a larger photo.

On Tuesday, the Year 3/4 Neighbourhoods presented their current learning in the school assembly. During this term, 3/4 students have been exploring their own cultural connections during our Culture Inquiry. Some of these students presented the items, music and movements related to their culture and showed this off by parading in the assembly. This has been a great practice for our real parade on Friday. We finished off the assembly by singing the Japanese song "Sanpo." This is a song from the movie "My Neighbour Totoro" about walking together with friends.

Here are some photos of the assembly for your enjoyment (click on any image to see larger versions).
